The DRESDEN MARATHON has been held regularly in October since 1999 and takes place on a flat, fast loop course through the Saxon capital with its famous landmarks. In addition to the marathon, there is a marathon relay, a half marathon, a 10-km run, and a tenth marathon (4.2 km). The route features highlights such as the historic old town with the Brühl Terrace and the Semper Opera, as well as over 300 musicians who create an uplifting atmosphere.
